A busy spring ahead!

The EEGsynth is going into a busy phase of development and performance thanks to the hard work by the team since 2013 and a grant by Kulturbryggan. Here are a few of the things that will happen in the spring:

  • From Feb 7-11 we will present the EEGsynth as part of the COGITO project at Techart in Rotterdam.
  • We will also be present with the EEGsynth at the Second Square Makers fair in Paris February 9-12, with a concert and  individual brain-music ‘compositions’ with those visitors who subscribe (very limited number of seats).
  • The EEGsynth will be on French national TV on February 18 on M6 as part of their children’s science program E=M6.
  • In the end of February Natasha Rosling and Stephen Whitmarsh will try to adapt the EEGsynth to read EGG (electrogastography- neural activity in the gut) for our event at Tekniska museet in Stockholm.
  • Mid-march will be a very big event for “the week of the brain” in Paris at ENS. It will merge interactive presentations by Stephen Whitmarsh and an EEGsynth sound performance by Samon Takahashi.
  • In April we will measure electrogastography with the EEGsynth in an interactive installation at Tekniska museet in Stockholm.
  • April 26-29 the whole EEGsynth crew will do a mini-residency at IKLEKTIK in London. Here we will really have time to support and develop musical ideas with Jean-Louis Huhta. The four day event will include visits of friends, colleagues and interested and end with a public performance and discussion.
